As other reviews here suggest, it's all about money here. Doctor Shapiro gave generic answers without even understanding the situation, and when I tried to ask something specific about a different treatment. He condescendingly laughed, and just ignored it. After that, when I ran out of his own prescribed medicine, according to schedule, he would refuse to refill it unless and until I visit him. After visiting my primary, I went to see Dr. Thaler to get help with my A1C issue. The staff was wonderful. They greeted me so kindly, explained all of the paperwork to me and I was taken in to see Dr. Thaler immediately. Dr. Thaler was so caring and patient. He thoroughly reviewed my family history and my health history. He took his time explaining what my A1C numbers meant and answered all of my questions. Don’t go. Money money money most important. Missed my appointment by accident and they want $100 for missing it and the won’t see me unless I pay. Sorry I want my dr to care more about me than money.
