While I was spending a night in Rome, I took a very good friend out for dinner to Aventine. It was my first time to dine here. For appetizers, we chose the Marinated Olives & the Keftedes(Meatballs). Our main entrées were the Prime Manhattan Strip & the Chicken Cotoletta. Everything was delicious and prepared perfectly. For dessert we chose the Citrus Pot de Creme. Always an incredible time with friends. We usually stop by every 6-8 months as a big group. Food was incredible. Service is actually unmatched. Never been anywhere that the service was better. A shining beacon in Rome.
Just stopped in for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it.
There were 11 of us who travelled to Rome for the Georgia State Tennis Championships. We had a Saturday night patio reservation and loved our spot on their terrace. Briana was our server (complimented by Alex) and we had outstanding service!!! The vibe when you walk in automatically makes you want to stay for the whole evening. Highly recommend Aventine—we hosted a rehearsal dinner for 60—the chef and his kitchen staff superbly prepared 2 entrée choices, each requiring varying preferred levels of doneness; the waitstaff, headed by Stephanie, served all courteously and attentively; Megan, aided by Katie, guided us expertly and graciously through all stages of the planning – the evening was enjoyed by all with many compliments from our guests!
