Charged me approximately 2x price posted daily. Site manager claims they have a different understanding of the word daily then the rest of us. Don’t park here for more than a couple hours. Wouldn’t let me leave till I paid 210$ for three days.
First time in Houston for a concert, and this parking lot is awesome for the Toyota Center. Easy in and out with advanced purchase parking. I love the decorative signs on every floor. I'm surprised by the negative reviews for the cost. In my opinion $40 is pretty average pricing for parking for an event. I broke my foot on the handicap ramp outside the elevators (4th level). It was not painted or taped with reflective materials and was the same surface/color as the rest of the garage. I didn't notice it coming out of the elevator with the lighting change. I would like to suggest this be corrected so others do not hurt themselves like I did.
It's an ok overpriced downtown parking garage, but they can charge that much due to location, location, location. See how much it goes up to once the entertainment district expansion is built around it. 🙄
Good parking near the George R. Brown convention center with a bridge directly connecting the parking facility to the convention center without having to walk outside. However, be aware of the rates because I was there from 12pm to 4pm for the URTEC convention and was charged $40 dollars which I think is extremely high. I recommend even walking a little to get better rates. When driving away I saw a few other parking facilities with the lowest I saw was $5 and just a few blocks away.
