So I placed order at 8:30 so instead saying we done with orders tonight we closed at 9pm. They sale me basically a bunch of chicken bones. Barely any meat on the chicken, this can’t be a whole chicken!! Unreal, I am so done with these restaurants over charging for mediocre food!! Never again and mean never again!!!! $28 for beans veggies for some dry little chicken pieces.

We have been regular customers at Avenel BBQ for quite some time, but after this experience, we won’t be returning. The usual woman who takes orders wasn’t there, and a younger employee took our takeout order. We ordered the beef cubes with peppers, onions, and pickled vegetables, and both my boyfriend and I specifically told her no shrimp or seafood because he has a severe seafood allergy. Sold me spoiled salmon that I purchased for my mom. The salmon smelled absolutely putrid like sewer insane that they would even sell that to customers
