I looked at many places for my mom. Avendelle @ Lazy River was perfect. When finding a place for your loved one you want the best for them. You want them to be cared for WELL and not neglected because of lack of staff or staff just “doing their job”. My mom was at Avendelle for 20 months. This place checks ALL the boxes. I cannot recommend this facility enough! It’s taken me quite some time to grieve the loss of my father, and even though he was only living here for a short while the staff here become my support system. From my first phone consultation with Garren to my first in person meeting with him and “Bean”, I knew my dad would be well cared for and protected. We love our residents! We take pride in caring for them like our own family. Staff is well trained and loves to go the extra mile. Avendelle at Lazy River has 2 CNAs on 1st and 2nd shift which means your loved one will get plenty of attention. Our home is clean, well maintained and homey… I promise you’ll love it here.
