Fun and inovative!!
I love the service here. I'm never disappointed. It's half the price of the regular salon. Instructors check the services. It takes a little more time but very worth it. I would recommend everyone give Aveda a try. Don't forget to grab some of the wonderful products while you're there. There's also great shopping nearby to browse and show off your new"do".
I have been to the Institute savers times I the last and never had a bad experience...BUT...yesterday I went I for a trim. One inch off all over is what I asked for. I LOST HALF OF MY LENGTH! My hair was down to the middle of my back. Now it hits between my shoulders. Lost at least 3 inches. That's not all. She had no idea how to do long layers or bangs. I am really impressed with the quality of estheticians I've hired for East Village Spa who are Aveda grads. When I've gone in for treatments to support employees who are continuing their education, the instructors have been great. My employees who have graduated from the school have had nothing but high praise.
Nikki Johnston is the raddest Aveda girl there is.

This was my first time at Aveda Institute to get my hair done. I've never had professional highlights and was so ready to get my new do for fall! The students and their educators were very friendly and helpful. They listened to exactly what you want and make sure to make you happy! My stylist was Megan. I will definitely be coming back!!! Had such a great experience :) Ps.) Prices are great!
