Decent hair cut- good prices Got a hair cut here a few weeks ago. Was a pretty decent hair cut. It was a great price though so I guess you get what you pay for. I also got my brows waxed also. All in all its a decent/average place and the services are done by students in training.

Been their twice. The first time I went I was recommended by a friend. The wait isn't bad at all. I had pictures to show my stylist and had the right length for the bangs I wanted (side bangs). The instructor came over and improved. She cut off a good amount. But when it came time to doing the bangs she had trouble and didn't even bother to go get help. Horrible experience Not only has my hair been cut way too short but also the wait was crazy. There was no one there that seemed to have any professionalism. This is a pretty bad company. I wouldn't waste my money.

The Absolutely Worst. The worst, absolutely worst experience I have ever had. I realize students would be doing my hair. I have long natural curly hair. The student had no clue how to even comb it out to start my cut. He got the instructors for everything. Actually the instructor did more than he did. I wanted no length off and lost about 5 inches. I will never go back or recommend Aveda Institute to anyone. Never, it was the worst experience of my life.

Great experience I didn't have to wait at all. I am Black and was there for a relaxer. A White young lady did my relaxer and I have to say it was one of the best if not the best touch up I've ever had. I have a lot of thick hair and I could tell she was very apprehensive. But with the help of her instructor, it came out great. I can't remember her name...I started witha K.

Great job and can't beat the price I had a great experience at this place! Cydney Comer did my hair and I was going in getting a lot chopped off...we're talking like 6-7 inches from a long wavy hairstyle to a very short bob. I expected someone new to the industry to be slightly nervous..but she wasn't. She seemed excited, confident and couldn't wait to do it. This made me feel great. Amazing work at fabulous price!!! Just went to the Aveda Institute of Charlotte today for foil highlights and LOVED it! The student, Ashley, and her instructor, Abby, were fantastic. They both communicated their ideas to me really well and completely explained what would be done BEFORE my hair was ever touched. My hair came out almost identical to the picture I brought in and I couldn't be happier. Aveda Institute Charlotte is horrible After hearing about Aveda Institute from a friend I thought I would try it. OMG horrible horrible. Some people are simply just not cut out to be stylists. When I left there my hair was chemically burned from the highlights. Chemically burned! Aveda should never let students cut or even let thier students near chemcials. I am sooooo stressed on my hair right now. It is cheap yes but you get what you pay for. I am wearing a hat for the next month till my hair grows out. Horrible horrible! ... read more

Good cuts! This place is nice and comfortable. The people are friendly and do an excellent job on styles. My family loves to go here. I would recommend this hairstylist to anyone.
