I recently had a 90-minute facial at Aveda Institute performed by a student who has been enrolled since September. While I understand this is a learning environment, I expected a better level of skill and overall service given her time in the program. Unfortunately, the facial did not meet expectations. I would not recommend this school based on my experience with leadership, communication, and accountability. I came in seriously considering enrollment and asked thoughtful, reasonable questions after a service experience that needed correction. What I was looking for was simple transparency and ownership around the technical decision that led to the issue. Looking for anything beauty? They have everything you need at a reasonable price. Got foils and style cut. Next time brows! Highly recommend you try them out. I had Amanda as my stylist but they all are good from what I observed. Maybe I'll get a facial 😂
