Spoke to a receptionist last week to make appt with psychiatrist. Was told to get referral first. Had to wait a couple of days to see my own Dr and pay to get a referral. When I rang this morning to make my appointment, I was told this psychiatrist doesn’t see people with the condition I need to see her about. After asking why I wasn’t told this when I first rang last week, the Receptionist then told me they wait until referrals come through to them to determine whether or not Dr can help them. I have been a patient of Dr Alapatt for MANY years - depression/anxiety & felt very at ease & comfortable talking to her. Sadly I've been told by Reception that I can NO longer see her. I had been doing ph consults with other Drs there for prescription repeats since Covid outbreak (I thought that I was doing the right thing during that time - leaving Appts for those who truly needed 1.. Also ph consults no longer bulk billed either). All because I haven't physically had a consult with her for the last few yrs - the need is t... read more

I have been a patient of Dr Alapatt for many years - depression/anxiety & felt very at ease & comfortable talking to her. Sadly I haven't been able to get an appt with her for ages & have been doing ph consults with other Drs for prescription repeats etc (ph consults no longer bulk billed either). It's so hard to find a great Dr - to trust & be heard.

Advertised and booked a bulk billed consult to turn up and be extorted. Do no visit this false clinic. Terrible experience and waste of time! If you don't want to help people don't pretend to be a doctor!
