Even coming through the admission process was very comforting, and made me feel at ease compared to other places I called. As soon as I arrived and did my intake process, the nurses were very nice, helpful, and took care of every one of my needs to help me get through my detox process. Once detox was completed, I was able to go out on activities like the movies, bowling, and an Equine therapy every Monday. I came here from NJRC where they put me on 7 different medications and I’ve never been on 1 med in my entire life and it was actually a caseworker working at NJRC that recommended l Avatar and said and their owners don’t like recommending people to Avatar, but the case manager heard that Avatar is the best treatment center in the state of New Jersey.
