The wait time for my appointment was minimal and the staff was friendly. My hygienist Emily is super friendly and thoughtful and does a great job cleaning my teeth. This twice a year visit always goes real well. And it can’t go without saying, I enjoy getting to talk with Dr Frank Avason before I leave. He’s such a personable guy who makes you feel important as a patient.
After a horrific experience with another dentist’s office, my husband brought me to Avason. From the moment I walked in and explained my severe dental anxiety and what I’d experienced at the other office, everyone went above and beyond to ensure that I felt comfortable. The women at the front desk were kind, friendly, and supportive, even remembering me when I returned a week later for my procedure. I was satisfied with the cleaning and exam. However, I would ask that I not be addressed with " dear" as Dr. Johnson did. I understand that he meant that in the kindest way . I am a nurse with 47 years of experience, still practicing. I learned not to address my patients in that way and to that day, still don't. I realize it may /may not be an issue with patients. It is just my preference. Thanks. DB
Dr. Aveson is very professional and very personable and so is his entire staff. The friendly atmosphere adds to an excellent experience. The dental hygienists are very thorough and capable and always treat you in a caring way. in fact, the entire staff has a caring attitude that helps calm any anxiety you may have.
The whole office staff is wonderful! Special kudos to Valerie who was always available to help, Dr. Avaso who made me feel like I was his most important patient, and Carmen whose kindness and support made me feel so comfortable. I can't name everyone who helped so much but I can say a big " Thank You " to everyone!
