It’s hit or miss with the Chitterlings some days they are cleaned good but recently got a bad batch.
Had an excellent experience here at Ava’s, our waitress Ruby was super sweet, very attentive, and knowledgeable about the restaurant. The manager Dana came out and expressed concern about one of the items I ordered that didn’t work well with my palette and asked for feedback to understand my palette so she could give me other alternatives that I would like and the one she suggested ended up being the perfect one for me , 10/10 all across the board will definitely be back.
I placed my order for the chittlings and yams, cabbage.. Have ordered before this time the chittlings were spiced and very salty and the cabbage had red pepper flakes also the yams was sugary. The order in February was much better not salty or spicy this time was a epic fail. My last time ordering eventhough I like the restaurant
I’ve ordered the salmon from here many times, and it’s usually one of the things I look forward to. I’m also a cook myself, so I pay attention to flavor, texture, and freshness. That’s actually the only reason I felt the need to call this time. This particular order was very different from what I’m used to. Your catering specialist (I cannot remember her name...Jameka or Tanisha...I am a senior citizen) was professional, caring, listened to my needs, had empathy, and offered the best options and prices. I could have talked with her all day. It is a blessing when you speak with a caring angel on the phone. I could hear her smiling the entire call. Thank you Ava's Cuisine!!!!
