Bridal Gown I brought my Maggie Sottero bridal gown to Ava for alterations and am so happy I did! I was recommended to her by a friend and I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and courteous Ava was. She completed the alterations on my dress in plenty of time for my wedding and the dress now fits like a glove. If you live in the Schaumburg area I would strongly recommend going to Ava for anything you need alterations on.
Extremely expensive I am only giving this two stars because of how nice Ava is. If you want someone who is kind and sweet, you found the right place. However, you are going to pay for it! I was floored by the amount that she wanted to charge me for dress alterations. It was more than I even paid for the dress! I was so lucky that I asked for a quote before she actually performed the services. I ended up getting the alterations done for $45 and saving 5 times the amount she quoted.
