We found this place while driving to Portland airport. We were looking for a nice place to eat, not Mexican, not fast food. We found this place, and it proved to be fabulous. My only regret is that I am too far away to go back. We had crabcakes for an appetizer. They were pretty much all crab meat and tasted fantastic. I had the grilled lamb loin dinner, and it was done perfectly. The sides that they serve with the dinner are so unique and flavorful. The Goat cheese potato gratin was great.
Avanti restaurant is the best restaurant in West Linn! Every dish we’ve tried has been so good- we feel like we can’t go wrong with whatever dish we choose. The hostess is always so nice and we never have an empty water glass :) There are a few tables that sit close to the kitchen so you could watch the chef create each dish (and dessert being made). This is the best restaurant in West Linn and the surrounding areas without a doubt; Tops in all of Oregon. $50-$60 per are entree and drink. It never disappoints. Reserve OR sit at the bar.
Avanti came highly recommended to me by a couple of coworkers and they were completely accurate. I was told everything is delicious here- and it’s not wrong. The food was incredible- we had the poke tartare and it was unbelievable. Delicious food, good drinks, friendly service, nice atmosphere. They even have a great kids menu. We had a fun conversation with the chef who offered the most delicious bite of short ribs to our 8 year old. This is such a. gem for West Linn for a high quality meal.
