I wish it was possible to give 0 stars. Starting off: 1) this hotel looks and feels like a trash highway motel. I’ve stayed at better $45 off-the-highway motels than whatever this was 2) customer service is just crap. The receptionist (can’t remember name) was unhelpful and dismissive. We were charged an extra 130 upon arrival and he just brushed it off as ‘resort fee’. We said that why weren’t we charged this while booking then and no response. I stayed at the Wyndham I-Drive Avanti Resort & Conference in Orlando and had a very disappointing and disturbing experience. First, the room did not look anything like the photos online. The pictures are misleading and show modern, updated rooms, but in reality my room was outdated and poorly maintained. There were spider webs in the ceiling corners, the air conditioner looked decades old and was built up with dust, and overall the space felt neglected and dirty. Stayed in June, they cancelled our booking without telling us because we didnt check in at the time of check in (3pm). Made us pay for the stay again because of the error they made. we were waiting in the lobby for 3 hours whilst they tried to get into contact with the manager. eventually checked in and the room was gross and didnt match the photos online. The night before our trip ended someone had died in the pool, they didnt block anything off or try and cover the body as it was right by the pool with children around.
