My grandma was really nervous going here. She's used to being alone but she knew she needed to get stronger first. I'm so glad the managers listened to our feedback, and the room they put Grandma in had the best roommate. She was there about a month And now she's back home. It's funny because now she says she misses her roommate, and her nurse and CNA. The facility was really great at being clean and everyone was always so friendly.
I was torn on bringing mom home or letting her stay at a nursing facility. The hospital said she really needed it. I'm glad I listened. She only stayed two weeks but she came back stronger, and she even made a friend. Nurses were always there supporting and especially the therapists. I'm hoping Mom stays healthy but if ever she needs to go back, at least now we know where she can go to get the best care.
This was the first time we've had to use a nursing facility. It was overwhelming choosing but the team were very helpful with answering questions and letting us come in for tour. We were happy with how bright and clean things looked. And after having my dad go in, we're even happier with his care. They've been quick to respond to our needs for the few weeks he was there. He came back home stronger and that's what we wanted.
I recently had a short stay at Avante. My stay was amazing. The staff are ALL so friendly and professional. I enjoyed the patio and spent time there. The appearance is top notch. I love how bright it is. I am not good with names but my housekeeper was very nice and kept my room clean. The nurses and CNA's were all fantastic and genuinely care. The food was very good. I liked that I was given choices on my meals. If I am ever in need I know Avante would be my first and only choice!
My mom was recently admitted to Avante for a short stay. She loved it stating that all the staff was very friendly. She enjoyed her meals....especially the oatmeal! I am so happy that she enjoyed her short stay. Thanks to all that treated her as family.
