Not following COVID 19 protocol per CMS and DOH. Refusing to test staff and residents when symptoms are present, and exposure is known. Refusing to follow DOH and CMS guidance in regard to facility/Staff testing when it comes to the county rate which is currently 14% ish. DO better.
The mixed reviews (negative and positive) across the board from the food to the staff is of of great concern. I have reason to believe some of the staff I had had dealings with on the phone (ONLY, and then in writing) have two various profiles. On the phone, some of the staff I've dealt with on another's behalf, the staff is pushy, hateful, and cocky and demanding. It's not the worst place but certainly not the best. Some of the staff were very caring and some didn't seem to care about the patients as much as just getting a paycheck. You could see the difference in how they approached their jobs. I would like to leave names but probably not appropriate to do so. With any nursing/rehab center, the family must be very observant, visit often and ask for what you need done without being rude or picky. Do not send your loved one here!! My grandfather went here on two separate times and he almost died twice! They don't care about their patients at all! My grandpa couldn't get up and they never rolled him over or got him out of bed, he ended up having bed sores all over him!! He was also dehydrated and no one even came to his room to take care of him. If I could give no stars I would but I can't!!! Please don't send anyone here unless you want them to get sicker!!!
