My mom was a resident in long term care at Avantara Lake Zurich for many years. Although there were many ups and downs with her care and communication with staff over the years, there were some exceptional staff members who went over and beyond. My mother has been at Avantara for about a year and the difference from that summer to this summer is a complete 180 and I could not be happier. Not only has her health improved, but her cognition and demeanor have improved in a very positive direction. She was previously at another facility who's service was extremely poor, but the move to Avantara was exactly the right one! I want to say thank you to Dottie, Raj and Alaw my mom's nurses and to the CNAs that cared for her Mary, Anaya, Lupe and Melissa who were so compassonite and kind to my mom. Our family couldn't have asked for more professional and tender care and for that we thank each and everyone if them for helping our mom through her journey at the end of life.
