If I could give this place zero stars I would. I took my daughter prom dress shopping. We arrived at the store just after ten and the lady at the desk did not speak to us for at least 10 minutes. She never got up and instead was on her cell phone the entire time. We picked out a few dresses for my daughter to try on. My daughter is tall and curvy. I needed an evening gown last minute but had trouble finding one in my size. I only had 2 days before I needed it. No other place could do alterations that quickly but at a reasonably low price Avanta got it done. The dress I got there was absolutely beautiful. They did perfect on the alterations. The staff was great and very helpful. I will be back for any formal wear for any of my family. Definitely recommend!!
Two years in a row, we have attempted to look at dresses for prom. Both years my daughter was told to "look online" within minutes of walking in because she wanted an "unpopular" color. She was not allowed to try anything on either year. Today ruined her fun and my polite young lady about lost her crap on the owner/employee who was working about 230pm. All she wanted to do was try on dresses to see what styles she loved this year and that wasnt allowed. Do better.
Great customer service response. I called to inquire about a size, they resolved my issue quickly, and my dress arrived in perfect condition.
I went here on a whim after a very overwhelming appointment at a bridal boutique. I had tried on 10+ super expensive dresses at the boutique and got the cold shoulder when I didn't say yes right away. I walked into Avanta and found my dress immediately. I didn't expect to find my dream dress at a store in the mall, but I'm so glad I gave it a chance. The store has a really cute atmosphere and the girl working was very sweet.
