First the positive: Tina, the new person at the front office, is really nice and helpful. It’s clear she really cares about her job (and she has even helped give me some tips for my job:). I also appreciate Michael and Jenny, who work in the front office as well. Overall I do regret moving here as I have no parking in front of my building, an extremely rude upstairs neighbor and the many rules that hiked the rent up quite a lot more than I expected. From move in this experience has been miserable. I sincerely regret not following through with what my gut was telling me in regards to NOT living here. Management is truly a nightmare. Looking through the other reviews, it seems like the complex has been short staffed for years... We are left with numerous issues that are met with little to no solution in a timely manner. Do not recommend. I wish I picked a different apartment complex
As a new resident of the Avana Longpoint community, this has been one of worst experiences I have had. Years ago, I considered moving here but didn’t feel the customer service in the office was adequate so I moved elsewhere. Four years later, I thought I’d give Avana another shot and had a wonderful experience with Tahja and Jenny in the office and decided to give the community a try thinking management had turned around. Do not rent here. Management is horrible and if you ever need maintenance good luck getting a hold of them. They overcharge and often random fees were popping up on our payments. They don’t know what they are doing and all they care about is your money. By far the worse place I’ve ever lived at.
