Is the spare parts arm of this business trying to destroy the AVAN company? 1. After trying to order a part before Christmas…they were overloaded and going on holidays. Fair enough. I left my order til the new year. They only use couriers, not Aus Post. It costs $28 for courier to bring $22 very light window stay. As I drive past this area from time to time, decided to do Click and Collect. Order completed on Feb 23rd. Have the receipt. Please be very aware that this company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you buy your van in pakenham, you MUST take it back to Pakenham for repairs. Regardless of Avan Cambellfield, being owned by the same company and far more accessible, you can't go there for your repairs. They don't care how much they put you out. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT SOMETHING THEY PRACTICE.
Posted my order to the wrong address. Included paperwork showed the right address but completely wrong on the front of the box. Lucky Startrack were helpful and I was able to find it.
Still waiting on a part promised sometime ago. The rating may go up. It can't go down much further though.
We have an Avan which needs repairs. We have been waiting 5 mths for the parts to arrive at the repair shop! It took 5 mthsl ast years for the van itself to arrive. A company of many excuses etc. Repair shop has paid upfront for repairs, still nothing. This company is a joke! Never communicates and full of passing the buck! Time to contact Australian Consumer Law ppl and A Currant Affairs tv programme! Shame on you Avan
