We cannot thank Dr. Sood enough for the extraordinary care he provided our 83-year-old father during his battle with pancreatic cancer. This place is a gem and the staff is absolutely amazing, especially Lakisha. She has made me feel at ease at every visit and her bedside manner has me lost for words.
Dr. Sood took care of me on emergency admission to Inova Alexandria, and now I see him at AVAM. He is great, and so are his front desk and infusion teams. I’ve been there a lot, and every time they are friendly, patient, have excellent phlebotomy skills, and are overall a cheerful bunch (even if the clinic is chaotic, which I know it can be). Clinical teams can feel under appreciated and under recognized…but the patients see it, and value their kindness when the world seems to be crashing down.
Words cannot fully express the gratitude my family and I feel for Dr. Sood. He has been an extraordinary source of strength, compassion, and expertise during one of the most difficult times in our lives, as he treats my father for glioblastoma (GBM). Dr. Soon is extremely thorough and patient focused. I can’t say enough about the staff and especially Kisha. She is a godsend and one of the most caring nurses I have ever met.
