Writing this review at 3:50 in the morning due to insomnia caused by stench of massage oil in my hair that I haven't been able to get out even after showering 3 times since I left, which they switched to using without any warning/permission before doing so. Which isn't cool to do in general, but especially with the fact that I'm pregnant and therefore more scent-sensitive than a typical client, and was there for a prenatal massage. I've been hesitating to leave this review but having read a few others with similiar experiences, I thought it important to share mine. A few months ago, I went for a wax and left with a literal burn under my arm that took a month to heal. I was in so much pain the first night it felt like my under arm was on fire. To their credit, avalon did reach out to me and brought me in for a consult. They gave me some cream but the scar was still there.
