My personal experience was not great. I had asked around in the community for recommendations on who I should see and requested a specific provider. When I arrived for my appointment, I didn’t realize I wasn’t seeing the person I had asked for. Unfortunately, the appointment was somewhat traumatic. The nurse practitioner asked if I had received my last vaccine, and when I said yes, she launched into a tirade about how vaccines are bad, citing information she had seen on Twitter.
