The store has some interesting stuff. But for as much peace, love and light items they have. They have way more political/President bashing items that are just in poor taste. It’s like they want to promote themselves as a warm hearted store. But they didn’t do their homework on who they have “promoting” those things. And the ladies seemed completely uninterested that we were even in their shop.
I love to shop at Avalon, so it's too bad that I was treated in such a bad manner on Monday, Jan 15, by the man who works there. (A co-owner?) He got testy about my efforts to EXCHANGE a 2018 calendar --for a different one of the same price--that I had bought the day before. First he tried to tell me that their policy for holiday merchandise and calendars was "no refunds or exchanges". Amazing selection of oustanding cards! The store staff (owner?) was outstandingly helpful as well.
