I am in awe of the compassionate care provided by Avalon. My grandmother has been here for a few months now. I was quickly, and consistently have been, blown away by the genuine care, patience and immense sweetness shown to my grandmother by staff members. I moved my mom in from a larger Assisted Living facility & even though she only lived two weeks at Avalon before she passed away I witnessed a great group of employees who helped her during her last days. She was treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. I saw the staff treat all the residents that way. The staff also kept the facility very clean. Avalon Memory Care staff were always cheerful, helpful, and responsive to any expressed needs, changes, suggested foods, and the attitude/mood of my husband during his stay there (almost 22 months). His room always smelled fresh and he was seldom left in a state of disarray if he was feeling good. Staff were attentive to his needs, friendly and compassionate. We were very well pleased with hus care. I recommend Avalon for it's family oriented care and concern.
I used to work here as the Med Tech and Charlotte and Ray are the absolute best! Best experience working for an employer so sad I moved.
