My mother has had dementia for at least four years, maybe more. When we first brought her to Avalon three years ago she had already been to another local memory care facility for a few months and it was a total nightmare. Avalon memory care has the most caring staff. They treated my father and me as family. They were able to handle his most complex issues with his dementia which allowed us to have a peace of mind. I would highly recommend Avalon.
My dad was there in 2020 and we had a horrible experience! I do not recommend!
We don’t even go there yet, but I called today, totally oblivious to what I needed and the lady that answered the phone answered questions I didn’t even know I had, right away! I was SO relieved to be met with a friendly, and helpful voice! She even helped recommend a site for other places, although they’re the best so far… Just amazing service!
