We got the family suite, which the layout worked perfectly for our family to separate the baby from waking up the 4 year old throughout the night. Also great sound-proofing since we didn't hear any other guests and it seems they didn't hear us. The location makes walking around really convenient, and we were even able to watch the famous Osoyoos Canada Day fireworks from the comfort of the rooftop balcony. We stay at the Avalon Inn every year when we’re coming back from Nelson BC to our hometown as it’s the halfway point. It’s usually decently, clean and nice and cool. This year the bathroom was not clean at all. There was urine on the seat hair hair in the tub and you could just tell that the tub in the shower had knob and cleaned. Service was amazing. Location is great just disappointed this year.

The dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. Management/Owner total oblivious to the issues. I am complaining to Hotels.com and the Environmental Health officer in Osoyoos. The floor could not have been cleaned for days; certainly not since the last guest left. The dining room table wasn't clean. There was a foot print from a trainer on the sofa. The worst room I have ever been in. The pillowcases smelt - had they not been washed or incorrectly washed. Give this place a miss. Angela Walsh
