Reception Staff is extremely rude and condescending. I have been going to Avalon for 40 years and will not be going back. After the way I was treated the receptionist should be fired.

The office staff is not friendly and not pet centered. They make it very difficult to reach out to the doctors. Very judge mental and talk about patients in the waiting area in front of other patients among staff. I was unable to get an appointment and follow up ended on my dogs eye infection and as a result the eye has to be removed. I tried to get lab results and was unable to in a timely manor refused to schedule an appointment without those results. When I saw Dr Homan in the office he was shocked the eye was worse and h... read more

Was charged $40 just to see if they would schedule my cat for another appointment. They didn’t do anything except take her temperature. This places seems like it would be fine for regulars but the vet was not very friendly towards me, seemed annoyed that I would even bother. I left feeling very defeated and at a loss for help with my elderly rescue cat. (Also it seems very unprofessional that your staff is arguing on your page with clients instead of resolving situations privately.)

I took my friend there with his 16 year old dog she got to where she couldn't walk, see,or hear,he had to have her euthanized.Dr. Smith was very rude,he gave her a shot to relax her walked off and after she relaxed my friend asked Dr Smith to go ahead and do it and he said I'll be there when I get ready.VERY inconsiderate to someone loosing a dog they have had for 16 years never take another pet to Avalon or recommend them to anyone
