We privately bought a Volvo V50 last month that had a few niggling issues, a loose parking sensor, air conditioning that stopped blowing cold after 30 mins and tracking off. I found Avalon from Google reviews and the service has been exceptional, they found that poor quality wishbones had been fitted bt the previous garage leading to poor wheel alignment and wear on the inside edges of both front tyres, along with a fault in the air-con compressor, and have now correctly bonded the parking sensor back in place after cleaning... read more

I can only recomend and give praise to the team at Avalon. Nick and Dave were my contact points and both were willing to give me the courtesy,Advice and time to a complex issue on my Volvo xc90 T8. The time spent on the issue, The knowledge Dave has and the Patience Nick had from with me being that harrassing customer was second to none. I can only thank the team, as well as state that we as a Volvo owning family will not go anywhere else. They were like Buzz Lightyears " To infinity and beyond" on every aspect.

Buy a Volvo, and have Volvo people service it!" That's good advice. I know nothing about cars so all I ask for is honesty, timeliness, value-for-money, good rapport and above all clear and regular communication. No surprises. Add to that a sense of belonging... leads to customer loyalty. I want to ring at any time for advice and for me and my vehicle to be known to the technicians. It's a relationship! We bought an XC60 from Avalon, fantastic value for money and superb service. The car was promptly prepared for collection and was immaculate. It drives great and was such a bargain. Highly recommended.
