Great setup. Ideal for mountain biking with everything you need.
Awesome place to stay in Derby. A local house with comfortable furniture and bedding as well as good amenities including dishwasher and large size laundry washer which is handy when it been wet. Literally just up the road from Bark Off Biking and across from the Dorset Hotel which has great food. Actually very close and accessible to the places on the main street as well as the Blue Derby trail head despite it appearing far on the map. Easy parking and neat bike storage area around the back. Stayed over Xmas New Year at Avalon.... Absolutely fantastic stay. Perfect location to hit the trails, Bark off Biking bike shop right round the corner as well as the Dorset Hotel for a cold beer and a great feed. Avalon was the perfect mix of old school Derby with some modern extras for all your needs, couldn't get any better than that... And coffee on the back deck as the suns come up perfect start to a day's riding.
