Today makes 4 weeks that I went to Morgan McKracken at Avallon to have my hair cut and highlighted and lowlighted. She ruined my hair. I had long hair to my shoulder blades in the back and front, all one length. This was the 3rd visit I had with her. The first time a cut, which she did fine. I went back for a 2nd time for a trim and I told her I wanted her to bleach my hair out (which was black) and get it to a dark brown. I visited Avallon Salon & Day Spa today for the first time. When calling to make my appointment, the secretary asked what type of hair I had to ensure she set me up with the right person. After reading numerous reviews online about Shannon, I asked to schedule an appointment with her. Retrospectively, it was the best decision I could have made. Shannon is awesome! – I have jumped around from hair salon to hair salon never really particularly happy with any one place until I found Avallon. Shannon is absolutely the best- especially if you are dealing with trying to fix a botched dye job. She spent a full day helping me to fix the damage I did with box dye (just say no to box dye!). My hair is now not only looks better but is healthier. So Happy!! – I went in for the first time today, and got a really nice and knowledgable stylist who cut my hair wonderfully! Cody did really well, I went from super long to super short, and it just looks fantastic. He really took his time and made sure that it looked exactly like what I wanted it to & talked to me about it. Fallon is absolutely the best stylist! – Fallon is absolutely the best stylist I have ever had!! Each cut is always done to my satisfaction. I've had dozens of different stylists over many years and never have I been this happy with my hair. Avallon is a fantastic salon. Everyone is extremely polite and friendly. I always leave happier than when I arrived there. I recommend Fallon and Avallon to everyone I meet.

Kara is AMAZING – Kara does magic with hair! Whether you have long, short, curly, thick or thin hair she can cut and style it beautifully. For the past 3 years, Kara has been my stylist and I've enjoyed watching her work with clients before and after me just look beautiful. The age range of her clients are from young children to seniors and she carefully makes them all look their best. Her talents never cease to amaze me. Shannon works her magic :) – Shannon Caldwell is a truly talented artist at Avallon Salon & Day Spa here in Baton Rouge. I've had the pleasure of knowing Shannon for a few years, and was taught by her at Vanguard College of Cosmetology. She is not only a very talented hairdresser, but such a fun and loving person. She's the kind of stylist that you can just sit down in her chair and know you will get up loving the way you look!

Shannon IS THE BEST! – A couple of years ago, I decided to dye my hair red from its dirty blonde color. I did an awful job and basically "botched" my already stressed and frazzled hair. I went to a salon in Baton Rouge, received another "botched" hair job and was absolutely miserable--would I have to wear a whig for the rest of my life?
