Poor client communication. I was a new patient coming in for an evaluation. Front desk person alerted me that the doctor was running behind due to a surgery, okay, fair. What I didn’t expect was to sit in the facility & room for an hour waiting to be seen. I opened the door to ask how much longer (yes, with attitude and was met with attitude) and the reminder about the delay due to surgery… yeah yeah… I run a business too and my time is important too. He is like a robot. No feelings.
I found the staff polite but the doctor was rigid, seemed to make up his mind about me before he ever entered the exam room. He was not interested in my case, even stating that he was not willing to treat me due to the fact that my situation was unique. I left in tears.
I must say, the AVALA staff here in Hammond are the best . They are very polite, considerate, helpful and they go beyond to make me comfortable as possible. I’m glad I choose to get treated at AVALA, The entire employees that work at AVALA have been vey professional and helpful thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality!!!!!
