Started with Dandy a few months back with their free Trios scanner and minimum monthly spend--just shipped the scanner back today as the lab work is sub par at best. Crowns have minimal anatomy no matter how much occlusal reduction is provided. I left Glidewell 15 years back as quality deteriorated when they started mass producing which is Dandy's business model. I guess that is what you get for a "free" scanner..

We have been using Dandy for a few months now. I love the workflow, makes scanning cases so much easier. The turnaround time for cases is pretty fast. A downside that I have come across though, is changing shades or if the crown is ill-fitting, there is another waiting period since the crowns have to be refabricated and we cannot just send the crown back for a day or two turnaround, like we can with local labs.

We started out small with Dandy providing the minimal cases to verify the Lab work. WOW - we were impressed and now over 90% of all of our cases do to Dandy, they make it so easy to review the case directly with the lab while you have a patient in the chair. No down time. You know exactly when you will get your case back and never have to worry about the fit. We are very happy we consider Dandy our in-house-lab!
