I stayed with my brother for a week here and what I witnessed is not only unacceptable, but a complete HEALTH HAZARD! The roach infestation was so severe, I literally had to take apart my Xbox to clean the roaches out of it before bringing it back home! What makes it so even worse is that management is apparently trying to blame my brother for the problem, which is OUTRAGEOUS! BEWARE OF ROACHES. since I’ve moved to this apartment I’ve never not had a day where I didn’t kill at least three roaches. They crawl around mostly at night I see at least a dozen each day. I requested pest control and it didn’t work! I’ve taken matters into my own hands and spent over $200 worth of product to take care of them myself and I still see them everywhere. The management department is trying to put the blame on me but I requested pest control my first month of living here. The roaches even made a nest in my Xbox!
When I first toured this apartment I fell in love. I toured about 8 other apartments in the same day and needless to say this was my last tour. I loved the layout and how affordable a 2 bed 2 bath was. There were some issues during move in that is understandable and could’ve happened to anyone. However one thing that has made me finally go on and share with others is the amount of roaches and “water bugs” that I have now seen inside my apartment. We are not dirty people. I have lived at Autumn Woods for the past two years while completing my graduate degree at UNC and have LOVED my experience living here. Moving from DC, I was very impressed with the facilities for the price of a one-bedroom apartment. The unit was clean at move in and I have had no problems that were not immediately addressed. A few highlights - the maintenance staff is AMAZING. Literally the kindest people I've ever met. The office is very helpful and the apartments are pretty comfortable. I enjoyed living here
