My dad is at Encore and I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful home for him. The staff is caring and loving. The facility is kept spotless. The nurses Maureen, Magie and Roxanne are attentive, responsive and fun. The entire staff is wonderful, I couldn't imagine better caregivers for my father. The activities are engaging and fun for the residents. My brother and I feel blessed that our dad is at Encore, Crystal Lake!

The director of nursing needs a class in professionalism and common courtesy. The director of nursing did not know who I was nor was the one who initially left me a message. The director of nursing is not above the managing director or executive director, but she thinks she is the way she talks to customers. Furthermore, if the way the director of nursing treats others is any reflection of how new customers are treated when inquiring about the facility, or returning phone calls then run far away from Encore of Crystal Lake. ... read more
