Friendly environment and great care team. Staff treats the residents like their own family. Very welcoming when entering the building. Everytime.
This company does not take responsibility for their failures and mistakes. They only blame their incompetence on the residents and their families. They feel if their failures are not documented by them, they didn't happen. Find a place that will stand behind their service and who knows what is going on in their own facility.
Heritage of Clear Lake has been one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. My husband of 65 years has dementia, and I was no longer able to care for him at home. I paid my $6000+ monthly fee, plus my "community" fee, which brought my first month's fee to more than $8000. If I could give zero stars I would. Please do not leave your loved one here. We toured the place and they gave a great song and dance about Montessori style care. It was the farthest from it. The a/c was not working in the room we toured and we were told it was being fixed. They never fixed it! It was always hot! The place smelled like urine all the time. We tried to find out when my dad was showered and noone could answer us. My mom showered my dad and it was extremely slippery and unsafe. There is only one shower per hallw... read more
None of the residents had their own supplies. I literally had to used other residents supplie. I worked as a contractor and most definitely not going back. One resident, White Caucasian by the name of Karen had a big hole on her butt that was not properly cared for. The bandag was sold with blood and I seen it hasn't been changed in a few days.....
