I have had great experiences with Autumn Leaves! Angela and her staff are always a pleasure to work with. They are so attentive to all of the residents and their individual needs!
My mom spent 3 1/2 years at Autumn Leaves. When she first moved in, she was still walking and they kept her engaged with various activities. Although we experienced a few issues, we visited every day and were able to stay on top of them. Over time, however, she started to have more frequent falls and eventually ended up in a geri-chair. Trust your gut, and don't let the smooth taste fool you! This facility is not a safe place to leave someone with memory issues. So many unexplained issues were noted within the first 30 days. To list a few, knee abrasion that turned into cellulitis with no explanation for cause. Multiple bruises on elbow and upper arms were noted by the ER. Medications placed in offices are then offered to residents. Meds left in the residents room. Pt. transported without jacket to Dr. appt. No access to water 24/7. No tissue. No milk. Darlene, was very helpful and I also have to say the Executive Director Angela is very nice and answered any questions I had.. if you haven’t go book your tour ..
