My husband was there in 2016 and it was a very good experience. Yesterday, I went to visit a relative who was there for rehab after a fall and the experience was not good! There was no one at the nurses station, or visible nurse or assistants. The time was 11:15 so no lunch rush. My relative had surgery on her right leg, is 82 years of age. She is really not mobile. This is my mom’s second visit to this facility. She has memory issues, but did remember that she liked it. I was so happy to see the familiar faces and for them to recognize us as well (shoutout to Shantel & Tasha)!!. I Was very pleased with their service the first visit and I’m already pleased for the second visit.
They left my mom in A Chux as a depend for seven hours last night and the nurse told her that what does she think she was an octopus and she wasn’t permitted to get out of bed to go to the bathroom Without assistance My mom called for a nurse every hour and then was finally changed at 7:30am and she started calling a nurse at 7 PM ridiculous
Very nice people there. My Aunt has been there for a while and they are taking good care of her!
The activities department is excellent. They do all they can to keep the residents engaged and happy. My sister passed away recently but she loved making hats and bracelets and participating in all the unique activities the Activities staff created. It definitely gave a reason to get out of bed.
