We rented DaLoft cottage for three nights. It was rustic. It had a comfortable bed, and nice linens and towels. It does not have a separate fire ring on the river like a couple of the other cottages. There is a communal fire ring behind the cottage. It has adequate furnishings, older worn leather couches, and a large TV. It has ceiling fans, box fans and A/C. It has a nice front porch for sitting. It needs some attention, but it is a typical rustic up north cabin. If you are looking for upscale, this is not your place.
Perfect spot for a UP getaway! We stayed in the Spruce and loved it! Small but comfortable and very clean. So much to explore in the area, and the river is just outside your door, it is so quiet and peaceful. Great location, affordable, and check in/out was a piece of cake. We had trouble getting the heater going and our host was just a friendly call away to help out! Excellent experience, would love to come back again!
