Carl Wilson (Owner) of Autoworks needs to be shut down with the way he operates his business. I spoke with him specifically 1 week ago on what want I wanted done to the car and I had it towed in and he just said "I don't want to work on it now". Car runs but not too his likings but never even test drove it, some bs. Not only did I loose time that I could have taken car somewhere else but I had to my my tow truck driver double because of his careless and arrogant actions. F U Carl.
RecommendedGot a 78 MGB for christmas. Never owned one before. They were very knowledgeable and didnt just fix my toy but educated me a lot on my new car. Look forward to long relationship with them.
My sophomore daughter’s car broke down right after she got to Wilmington so we had AAA tow it to the AAA car care center since we didn’t have a mechanic in Wilmington. Big mistake! Quoted us $800 to replace a fuel pump. I did some research and had the car towed to Autoworks. $410 to replace the fuel pump and fuel filter. I also had them check her brakes. It only took half a day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AUTOWORKS!!! Very trustworthy. Ask for Tim!
Honest , reasonably priced work ,done in a timely manner. Highly recommend this repair shop. Will definitely use them again.
My car 1979 MGB is at AUTOWORKS. Carl explained how the Weber carburetor will get my car on the road, and modernize it. Guardian Towing, towed my car, and did a professional job.
