Nice shop. It was a simple fix, but the folks at Autoworks were great. I was visting from out of town, was given their name from a friend who is a local. When I called and asked if they could fit me in on that day, they said yes. It was quick and the people there were courteous and professional.
I’m not sure what the current trend is with rustproofing new cars. I do know that there aren’t many places near me who provide the service. Zeibart is in Syracuse which isn’t convenient. Autowork’s provides quality service, in my opinion, at a reasonable price. They’ve rustproofed two vehicles for me and the product they use works. I got my car body repair done in three days (somewhat significant damage), pricing was transparent, and I have no complaints about the job done.
Had my car for 3-4 months of body repair and after all the incessant calling finally got it done.. at first looked good but then noticed cracks in some plastics and many missing bolts/screws or not bothered to be tightened down.
Changed my rating of 5/5 to 1/5 Took my car to official Mercedes Dealership Helms Bros Bayside. Technician said the previous work was unable to satiate the body damage due to the incident costing me additional repairs with active brake assist and radar sensor. Either this shop took the insurance money from Geico and did not purchase new parts or this place was unable to handle German cars
