Used AutoTek for years under the previous ownership for my old 4x4. They were honest, good value and were always very invested in it as they had put many hours into previous repairs. Since the change of ownership its hard to say the same. Communication is poor, updates required multiple calls of which most were missed and answers were vague when i did get them. Not very impressed. Price of service has almost doubled in the last 6 months with no clear reason. Have been here every 6 months since I bought my Ford Ranger second hand two and a half years ago. Services have previously always been between $350 and $440 which was affordable. This service jumped to $740 with no real explanation. They now charge about $180 per/h for labour. Not happy and won’t be going back. Don’t appreciate them putting a sticker on my back window either.
Cannot recommend these guys enough! They fit me in last minute to fix another mechanics mistake, both Gemma and Zac went above and beyond to get me back on the road the same day. They made everything super simple and made me feel extremely welcomed. Honestly the best experience I’ve had going to a mechanic, they both deserve a pay raise.
Worth a 1.5hr drive! Seemingly unrelated issues I had no idea how best 2 explain, & he was onto it. Fixed simple (4 him) repeat globe issue straight up so I could get home safe & gave me options. NRMA Certified. I mistook Apex for Autotek & Regret my mistake: it cost me my car.
Our insurer sent us here quick work had to return as they didn’t plug our day driving lights back in ….
