I highly recommend Tony and AutoTech. I have been taking my cars to Tony for more than a decade, and he not only keeps them in great shape, but always offers a series of options and recommendations to help decide when to retire the car and move on. But Tony goes even further to support his customers: when our car did not pass emissions inspection, Tony obtained the part needed for the repair in a day, drove it to the inspection station to ensure that it passed, and had it ready for us--all in 48 hours. I had an oil change and a few maintenance items done at AutoTech. I am impressed with this place. The work was done in a timely manner and reasonably priced, but more than that, the team here is really attentive to one's needs and concerns. The customer matters to them. A big shout-out to Carlos who is so kind and friendly. As just on example, he asked one of the mechanics to help me sort out a GPS issue, which I appreciated. Tom and his team were incredibly friendly, efficient, and professional.
Absolutely unacceptable behavior. I called the store, and the person who answered rudely put me on hold for 5 minutes without saying a word—then hung up on me. When I called back, he didn't even let me speak and just told me to "call another store." This is one of the most unprofessional and disrespectful customer service experiences I’ve ever had. If this is how you treat potential customers, you don’t deserve their business.
Two years have passed, and I am still incredibly upset. Let me tell you, steer clear of this mechanic shop in Chicago. You won't find a place that cares less about you or your car. The owner seems to be a stay-at-home proprietor, and the business is run by employees who don’t care about the business they make a living from.
