I went with my husband and parents to transfer a title on Tuesday. My husband called the day prior, and was told that the notary would remain open late if someone needed, but our name and/or phone number were not taken. We arrived at 5:20 on Tuesday 3/10, to locked doors and lights off. We called every phone number listed on the outside of the building, to no answer at all. My SIL called to try and make an appointment because we knew we wouldn't be able to get there until close to closing time (which is listed as 6:00 PM). She said no appointment was necessary and didn't want to take his name or anything. She also advised that she's stayed over in the past to help customers, if needed. We showed up at 5:20 PM and she already was gone (40 minutes before listed closing time). She charges a FEE for “checking” the authenticity of drivers licenses and $100 for using an “online registration system” … And then scribbles illegibly as a receipt. Unless you want to pay $300 for a simple title transfer avoid this place
