East Pete auto has recently come to be owned by Meineke. Bad News! I don't typically write negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience to prevent others from going through what we did. We recently took our car in for what should have been a routine repair. Unfortunately, they installed the wrong axle, which led to significant damage to our vehicle. When we returned to address the issue, they admitted their mistake and replaced the axle with the correct one, but the damage was already done. The initial error... read more

Took my Jeep in for very small coolant leak. After putting in on the lift the Service Manager told me it needed a new thermostat and housing - $389.00, installed. I took it to another mechanic (recommended by a friend). After putting it on the lift, the Service Manager told me the lower hose clamp was tightened. Problem solved; no charge. The Service Manager asked me who told me I needed a new thermostat and housing. He rolled his eyes and chuckled when I said Meineke East Petersburg in East Petersburg.
