Went in without an appointment, and they were able to accommodate me for an oil change and tire rotation. The staff seemed indifferent. I prefer that rather than over the top friendly (which seems insincere to me), but it felt a bit awkward. I was called after about 1hr 15 min and was told my car would be ready in 10 minutes so I made my way back from a nearby coffee shop. 2026-03 UPDATE: After four months, a new engine, and over four weeks of time spent in the service of AUTONATION SUBARU CARLSBAD, four lights on my dash lit up and the display would not stop flashing on and off. We decided to go to a different Subaru certified dealer and service shop. How is it that upon diagnosis this second Subaru certified service shop noted “gunk build up,” and recommended a full flush— for a THREE MONTH OLD BRAND NEW ENGINE? Working with Eric, Tyler and John in the service department was great. They made sure to keep me posted on the progress of my repair and worked to make sure I was satisfied with the repair, I would have no problem sending anyone I know with a Subaru to them for any maintenance needs.
