History Established in 1996. AutoNation's roots trace back to 1996, when current Chairman H. Wayne Huizenga invested in an Atlanta-based waste management company that later became Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Republic Industries, Inc. Republic Industries would go on to acquire most of the more than 321 new vehicle franchises the Company operates today, as well as several waste management and vehicle rental companies, before changing its name on April 6, 1999 to AutoNation, Inc.

I don't know who wrote the review with 5 star's maybe an employee but mine experience was the total opposite. Geico adjuster didn't explain anything had to ask her to come out to show damages. Receptionist in Body Shop is rude barely speaks English and the shop is a total mess. They do not follow up adjuster ask me to come and pick up my car got there it was in pieces found more damages on my vehicle. I don't think that Geico know whats going on. So DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE. If I could given no stars I would....
Very EXCELLENT service. I couldn't have asked for better service from these guys. I have GEICO and the adjuster there had answered all of my questions without leaving me in any doubt. I own a 2015 Lexus IS 250 F Sport and they repaired it like the dealer would. I was fortunate enough to be helped by Johnny from the collision center and he made sure all of the parts were the correct ones.
