Went in for a mystery diagnostic. I have been replacing parts for months to no avail. For a level 3 diagnostic, the highest you can get, it was a flat fee of roughly $345, which is pretty reasonable if the diagnosis turns into a wild goose chase that could be a lot of hours of work. Kept me updated over a week, gave me suggestions going forward, fixed some initial problems with no added cost. And they have a really decent quality assurance guarantee of sorts. AutoMed charged a $170 diagnostic fee just to tell me the battery was bad. I took it to the place that we got a warranty on the battery and two people there said its fine. So I paid someone $170 to lie to my face basically AutoMed also wanted to charge me about $465 to replace the battery. Keep in mind this battery had been replaced a couple months earlier, but they were not aware of that before doing diagnostic anything.
