I cant speak for the employees at this shop, but I can Certainly without a Doubt say Carl is a Liar. Honesty is the foundation of a business and a owner who lies about repair work being done is a customers waste of time. Week after week into (Months) he constantly lied about partial work being done. Carl does quality work at a great price. He's trustworthy and won't trick you into getting work done that you don't need.
Autohaus and CArl – I visited this shop after it was recommended by a couple of different friends for some air conditioning work on a 1990 International. They worked on the truck and I have been back since for belt replacements and electrical service. I found Carl to be an honest mechanic who charges reasonable rates. I should have known better just from looking at the place – Two years later and I'm still feeling the effects of having my car serviced here. It was a 01 VW that needed a new timing chain tensioner. I should have correlated the cluttered unkempt disorganized appearance of the place to the service I was about to receive. I took it back three times for binding in the front suspension and excessive cooling fan noise. After the third time they repositioned a transmission bracket that had been installed wrong.
